We took Peter up to see the river today. He loved looking around and seeing the river, cars below us the trees blowing in the wind. I couldn't help but to think about how big this all must look to him and if he understands. I thought that he looked just like a little mountaineer in this picture on top of Mt. Everest.

We also spent a lot of time outside in the backyard working on the gardens. I want to edge both of them out this spring- the flower garden with rocks and the vegetable in bricks- The grass always creeps in and I have a hard time keeping up with it- It will look so nice when we are done  but it is so much work right now!

Peter helped by supervising, pushing his hippo through the grass, throwing the ball for Scout and eating dirt.

I also thought I'd show you my new office- when it is nice out- petey swings, I work and Scout sunbathes. Not a bad life!
